ABSTRACT:
A device unit46is constituted by including a lead frame50on which a light-emitting mold portion48and a light-receiving mold portion49are mounted. Moreover, an exterior casing for housing the device unit46is constituted of two parts dividable into an upper casing45and a lower casing47. Thus, by holding the device unit46by the upper casing45and the lower casing47, external connection terminals43constructed of one end portion of the lead frame50can be fixed to the exterior casing and positioned in a connector portion42. Therefore, by reducing the parts count to three and allowing the device unit46to be fixed to the exterior casing by a fixed fitting mechanism of the upper casing45and the lower casing47without performing welding, soldering, thermal caulking or the like, the assembling becomes easy.
