ABSTRACT:
There is provided an optical communication device in which a plurality of lands45aand45cof the printed board32connected to a plurality of main signal leads50and51of a co-axial laser diode module34are brought in proximity to the end32aof the printed board32,and a land45bof the printed board32connected to an auxiliary signal lead52of the laser diode module34is situated farther away from the end32aof the printed board32than the lands45aand45c. As a result, lengths of the main signal leads50and51can be shortened, and this limits degradation of pulse shapes of main signals and high-frequency characteristics of the device.
