The invention concerns an optical colored glass with a composition (in percent by weight based on oxide) ofSiO230–75; K2O 5–35; B2O3>4–17; ZnO 5–37; F 0.01–10; CdO 0.1–1, S+Se+Te 0.1–1.5as well as the use of this glass as a long-pass cutoff filter.
