ABSTRACT:
The fundus image processor of this invention comprises an image inputting means including a fundus camera for inputting electronic images of a subject's eye, video camera, magnetic disk apparatus and still video apparatus. Further, this apparatus also comprises a display means for displaying the fundus image input by the image inputting means. Further, the apparatus also comprises an image identification/processing means for identifying the state of the image input by the inputting means from the positions of light and dark regions on the image, and causes the results of this identification to be displayed on the display means.
