ABSTRACT:
A vehicle composition for particulate solids comprising a condensate of an alkyl polysilicate having an SiO.sub.2 content of about 40 percent, zinc chloride and an organic solvent. The resulting vehicle composition is mixed with a cathodically active metal and, if desired, fillers to form a coating which exhibits a high degree of stability and is highly resistant to corrosion.
