ABSTRACT:
A one component RTV composition having improved primerless adhesion to polycarbonate is formed of: A) polyalkoxysilane endcapped dimethylsilicone polymer, (B) reinforcing fumed silica fillers, (D) organosiloxane plasticizing oils, (E) an optional alkoxy silane crosslinker, (F) a stabilizing amount of a disilazane or polysilazane, (G) a tin condensation cure catalyst from the class of R.sub.2 Sn(beta-diketonate).sub.2 complexes, and (H)/(C) a glycidoxypropyltrimethoxy silane/cyanoethyltrimethoxysilane co-adhesion promoting system, having improved auto-adhesion to polycarbonate.
