In an onboard connector10, an outer housing11is fixed to a circuit board22in such a manner that external connection portions36, 39, 42, 42and45, projecting from respective first, second, third, fourth and fifth inner housings13, 15, 17, 19and21, are disposed within respective mating connector-fitting through holes25and30. The first, second, third, fourth and fifth inner housings13, 15, 17, 19and21and the outer housing11are mounted on the circuit board22in such a manner that these inner housings are disposed out of contact with the inner housing.
