Smoke and flame retardant plasticizer compositions for polymers comprising .omega.-bromoalkyl esters of saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acids. Optionally, the composition may contain a modifier which is an oxide, hydroxide, hydrate or salt of antimony, aluminum, calcium or magnesium.
