ABSTRACT:
A high activity olefin polymerization catalyst, useful in the polymerization of lower .alpha.-olefins, comprises the solid product resulting from contacting a complex magnesium-containing, titanium-containing alkoxide compound with alkylaluminum halide, optionally employed in conjunction with a selectivity control agent.
