ABSTRACT:
An oil skimming apparatus for use in skimming oil, or hydrocarbons, or pollutants, from the surface of water. The apparatus includes a boat subassembly having left and right pontoons and a deck, an adjustable primary skimming wing portion suspended from the deck by hydraulic cylinders; a channel subassembly having a plurality of channels mounted on the top of the wing portion, a plurality of secondary skimming units respectively disposed at the outlet ends of the channels, and an oil collector and separator and storage subassembly.
