ABSTRACT:
A two liquid type oil seal10having a first seal13and a second seal14,is provided with a communication hole16in the first seal13.The communication hole16communicates a space24defined by the first and second seals13, 14and a crank shaft2,with a gap25between an outer casing11and the first seal13.Negative pressure induced in the space24is eliminated by sucking air from the outside through the communication hole16while lubrication oil having entered into the space24is removed from a groove15which is formed in the first and second seals13, 14,thereby it is possible to restrain the first and second seals13, 14from being worn.
