An oil filtering device disposed at a position apart from a crankshaft in a crankcase. An oil filtering device24is constituted in that a filter storage34formed in a left half case body1aof a crankcase1contains a filter element37,and a lid47of a filter flange46is fitted in an opening36of the filter storage34.An extension part48extending outward from the lid47is formed in the filter flange46,and the filter flange46has a communication passage53inside. Then, an oil passage57communicating with the tip of a crankshaft16is formed in a crank cover1b. A connection part50formed on the tip of the extension part48of the filter flange46is fitted in a flange connection part58which communicates with the oil passage57.Oil is supplied to the tip of the crankshaft16from the oil filtering device24.The filter flange46is supported by the left half case body1aand the crank cover1b.
