ABSTRACT:
An objective lens driving device includes: a movable section8for collecting light of a light source onto an optical disk2; and a driving section for driving the movable section8(i) in a direction of a light axis of an objective lens1which direction is orthogonal to a storage surface of the optical disk2and (ii) in an in-plane direction orthogonal to the light axis, wherein the movable section8includes a protruding portion4which protrudes in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the light axis of the objective lens1, and there is provided a stopper section16for restricting a movable range of the movable section8by coming into contact with the protruding portion4when the movable section8moves.
