ABSTRACT:
A lens holder portion3for holding an objective lens5is supported on an end side of each of four suspension wires2so that it is capable of moving in a focusing direction and in a tracking direction. Minute uneven faces2aare formed in the surface of each suspension wire2. Adhesive agent11which fixes each suspension wire2on the lens holder3and fixing member4invades into dented portions in this uneven face2aand hardens, thereby producing an anchor effect to improve bonding strength. Consequently, in an objective lens drive unit1in which the lens holder3is supported by a plurality of suspension wires2, bonding strength to the suspension wire2can be improved.
