ABSTRACT:
A nucleotide sequence of the threonine operon ofE. coliwith a deletion of all or part of a nucleotide fragment of −56 to −18, a recombinant vector containing the above nucleotide sequence, and a transformed host cell containing the recombinant vector are provided. A method for producing L-threonine comprising culturing the transformed host cell is also provided.
