ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for nuclear logging, and in particular, neutron porosity logging is presented. In accordance with the present invention, a novel programmable gain amplifier circuit and a novel peak detector circuit are used in conjunction with other electronic circuitry to provide borehole formation logs in a nuclear logging tool.
