ABSTRACT:
A novel reaction product prepared by reacting a N-acyl sarcosine compound and a polyoxyalkylene polyol containing propylene oxide-ethylene oxide block copolymer units has utility as a motor fuel additive in reducing deposit formation in and around an internal combustion engine, and consequently is useful in reducing engine ORI. The novel reaction product is of the formula: ##STR1## where R is a C.sub.8 -C.sub.24 alkyl radical, R' is selected from the group consisting of H, CH.sub.3, or C.sub.2 H.sub.5, a+c has a value ranging from 1-20, and b has a value ranging from 5-50.
