ABSTRACT:
A red dye composition comprising the dye compound ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1.spsp..sym. and R.sup.2.spsp..sym. are alkali metal cations or ammonium ions of a lower alkylol amine, and R.sub.3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, and at least one rhodamine dye.
