Novel phthalocyanine pigments having the structure: ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1 represents ##STR2## n represents 1, 2, 3 or any combination of 1, 2 and 3. R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 represent alkyl, alkylaryl, alkoxy, alkoxyaryl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or aryloxy;
