Novel organic platinum complex of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl group, a lower alkenyl group, a lower alkanoyl group, a mono- or di-lower alkylamino group, a substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing hetero-monocyclic group, an oxygen-containing hetero-monocyclic group, or a group of the formula:
