ABSTRACT:
A method for the attenuation of the noise emitted by a main exhaust nozzle f a jet engine, wherein an auxiliary exhaust nozzle adapted to emit less noise than the main nozzle is associated with said main nozzle and is located to the side of the main nozzle, in the direction in which it is desired to attenuate the noise of the main nozzle.
