ABSTRACT:
A nonionic emulsifier derived from mono-ester reaction products of substituted succinic anhydride. There is also disclosed a stable substituted succinic anhydride
onionic emulsifier composition, a method for imparting water repellency to surfaces containing groups reactive to anhydrides, and a method for the sizing of paper using said composition.
