ABSTRACT:
An automotive and refinish coating containing a curing catalyst which minimizes yellowing of a finish after exposure to weathering wherein the composition has a binder of an acrylic polymer of polymerized monomers of alkyl methacrylate, alkyl acrylate or mixtures thereof and the polymer has pendent aminoester or hydroxy aminoester groups and a glycidyl acrylic crosslinking polymer of polymerized monomers of glycidyl methacrylate or glycidyl acrylate and an alkyl methacrylate or acrylate or mixtures thereof; wherein the catalyst is
the alkyl ester of para hydroxy benzoic acid having 1-4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group.
