ABSTRACT:
Electrical inductive apparatus including a non-metallic band for containing a magnetic core of electrical steel plates. The non-metallic band includes one or more layers of non-metallic tapes or web belts that encircle a core limb and attach to themselves by a non-metallic fastening means. When multiple layers are utilized, each layer is fastened such that all layers are subject to uniform predetermined tension.
