ABSTRACT:
A novel indole diterpene compound named "nominine" has been isolated from the sclerotia of the fungus, Aspergillus nomius. Nominine is characterized by the structural formula ##STR1## and is effective for controlling Lepidopteran and Coleopteran insect pests.
