ABSTRACT:
This invention is directed to nitric esters of derivatives of propionic acid, 1-(p-chlorobenzoyl)-5-methoxy-2-methyl-3-indolylacetic acid, 6-methoxy-2-napthylacetic acid, characterized in that they have the following general formula: ##STR1## These nitric ester derivatives may be formulated into pharmaceutical compositions and administered for their anti-inflammatory and/or analgesic activity.
