ABSTRACT:
Neutron absorbing glass compositions comprise SiO.sub.2, .sup.6 Li.sub.2 O and optionally Al.sub.2 O.sub.3. The compositions may further include PbO. The compositions provide neutron absorption without release of gamma rays.
