ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to novel neomycin and paromomycin derivatives having antibiotic activity. The derivatives have the formula: ##STR1## wherein R' is --NH.sub.2 or --OH, either R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 is --CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2 and the other is hydrogen, and in addition non-toxic pharmaceutically acid addition salts of these compounds can be used.
