ABSTRACT:
An NC lathe1comprises a bed5, a headstock10provided on the bed5, a main spindle11supported on the headstock10so as to be rotatable around the axis thereof, a rotation drive device for rotating the main spindle11, a stationary frame15formed in a rectangular frame shape and fixed to the upper face of the bed5, a movable frame16formed in a rectangular frame shape and provided so as to be movable in the Z-axis direction with respect to the stationary frame15, a saddle17provided so as to be movable in the X-axis direction with respect to the movable frame16, a quill18accommodated inside the accommodation hole17a in the saddle17and provided so as to be movable in the Y-axis direction, and a tool rest20supported on the quill18.
