ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a novel method of administering propranolol, a known .beta.-andrenergic blocking agent widely used in the treatment of angina pectoris, arrhythmias, hypertension and other cardiac conditions, and migraine. The invention further relates to novel dosage forms of propranolol which are adapted for nasal administration and which include solutions, suspensions, gels and ointments.
