ABSTRACT:
A naphthalene derivative represented by the following formula (1) is provided. In the formula (1), Ar1and Ar2each represent an aromatic hydrocarbon cyclic group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms forming a ring. The aromatic hydrocarbon cyclic group has none of anthracene skeleton, pyrene skeleton, aceanthrylene skeleton and naphthacene skeleton. Ar3represents a benzene skeleton or a naphthalene skeleton. R1and R2each represent an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a cyano group, a silyl group or a halogen atom. a and b each represent an integer in a range of 0 to 4. m and n each represent an integer in a range of 1 to 4.
