ABSTRACT:
An n-type polyacetylene, comprising polyacetylene doped with a mixture of a metal amide and a primary and/or secondary amine compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, aryl and allyl, or a substitutent group which contains a carbonyl, silyl or amino group, with the proviso that if one of the R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom, the other group is not a hydrogen atom.
