ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formulae Ia and Ib ##STR1## wherein n is 1 or 2, R.sup.1 is an aliphatic or aromatic acyl radical, carbamoyl radical or --CH.sub.2 CN, and R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are as defined in claim 1, have a much lower basicity than corresponding known compounds, in which R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical, but have at least as good a light stabilizing action as the known compounds. This is a substantial advantage for specific substrates.
