ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to N-substituted lauramides.
These compounds have the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is a benzyl group and R.sub.2 is an alkyl having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 form a 4-benzylpiperidino group with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, and n=2 to 6, or one of its salts with organic or mineral acids. Application: Preparation of compositions for antiseptic or antimicrobial use, or disinfectants and preservatives, especially in the sectors of pharmacy, cosmetology or agri-foodstuffs.
