ABSTRACT:
The invention encompasses formulated conditioning shampoos, surfactant solutions and emulsifier solutions comprising effective amounts of salts of the following general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are the same or different and represent straight or branched chain alkyl groups having 10 to 40 carbon atoms, or aryl straight or branched chain alkyl groups having 10 to 40 carbon atoms.
The invention also encompasses formulated conditioning shampoos, surfactant solutions, and emulsifier solutions comprising effective amounts of mixtures of a salt of formula I and an acid of formula II ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different and represent straight or branched chain alkyl groups having 10 to 40 carbon atoms, or aryl straight or branched chain alkyl groups having 10 to 40 carbon atoms.
