N-Benzoyl-N'-(2,3-dichloro-4-phenoxy)-phenylureas of the general formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is halogen, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or halogen, R.sup.3 is halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, and R.sup.4 is hydrogen or halogen, pesticides containing compounds I as active ingredients, and methods of combating pests.
