ABSTRACT:
A musical tone generation control apparatus provides at least one holding device (such as a grip device) having a shape which can be easily held by one hand of a person. This holding device further provides plural pressure sensors each capable of sensing a depression-pressure applied thereto, wherein these pressure sensors are arranged such that each pressure sensor can be easily touched and depressed by each finger of the hand of person. In addition, an angle detector can be provided in order to detect a bending angle at a joint portion of the person. Based on the combination of sensed depression-pressure and detected bending angle, musical tone control data for controlling an externally-provided musical tone generating apparatus is generated. This musical tone control data is used for controlling a key-on timing, a tone color, a tone pitch or other attributes of the musical tone.
