ABSTRACT:
The present invention10discloses a display case12for musical instruments26. The display case comprises a housing12having spaced apart top surface14and bottom surface16with side walls26, back wall18and front wall21positioned therebetween. Both the interior and exterior of the cabinet12are covered with fabric material, along with the inside of the back panel. The front wall21is a removable structure22having a border with a transparent member24positioned therein for viewing the displayed musical instrument26. The interior of the case has a fastener or fasteners28on the back wall for attaching the musical instrument26and a light42which can be located on the base for illuminating the displayed article. A door stop38is located on the interior side walls having hook and loop material40on the anterior side that mates with hook and loop material located on the interior side of the front panel22forming retaining means for the front panel. Also located on the front panel22is a handle30, a brass knob in the preferred embodiment, for removing the front panel providing access to the display case interior. Additionally, the front corners of the case can have metallic edge protectors32and the exterior base can have polymeric or elastomeric pads.
