ABSTRACT:
An updating system able to easily and cheaply update music information in a terminal having a memory function unit storing music information of track data and music database information.A broadcasting apparatus20is configured by a broadcasting side memory function unit21for storing music information including track data and music database information and a transmission function unit23for broadcasting the music information on a broadcast channel, and a terminal30is configured by a reception function unit31for receiving the broadcast wave thereof, an extraction function unit32for extracting the music information from the received broadcast wave, and an update function unit33for updating the information in the reception side memory function unit34with the extracted music information.
