ABSTRACT:
Muramyl peptide derivatives having the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.3 is a long chain acyloxyacyl group, R.sub.1 is hydrogen or hydroxy mercapto, acyloxy or acylthio group, R.sub.2 is hydrogen or alkyl group and R.sub.4 is acyl, which are useful as immunomodulators.
