ABSTRACT:
A method for species-specific identification of aMycobacteriumspecies is provided. Also disclosed is a method for identifying the species ofMycobacteriumpresent in a sample. A device is disclosed for the detection ofMycobacterium. Mycobacterium-specific oligonucleotides are also disclosed, as are kits.
