ABSTRACT:
An alarm system uses a series string of sensors including burglar, fire and cold detectors in series with a relay coil. The coil when activated, assures that all sensors are indicating a no fault condition and a contact associated with the coil, energizes a source of light to illuminate a photo detector. Upon an intrusion, the coil is energized causing an alarm to activate, which alarm may cause another alarm to continue warning of a fault in spite of a predetermined reset condition, which may undesirably occur.
Other embodiments show a technique of monitoring a plurality of secured locations to determine the exact one experiencing a fault.
