ABSTRACT:
A multi-tube heat exchanger includes a pair of tanks and a plurality of heat transfer tubes fluidly interconnected between the tanks. The heat transfer tubes are arranged so that at least one of tube-arrangement surfaces formed on entrance and exit sides of the heat exchanger in a passage direction of air subjected to heat exchange is formed as two or more surfaces different from each other, and air flow is separated or joined in the multi-tube heat exchanger. An air conditioner according to the present invention has such a multi-tube heat exchanger in an air path. The multi-tube heat exchanger can be made smaller while a desired heat exchange property can be maintained. An air conditioner having such a heat exchanger also can be made smaller.
