ABSTRACT:
A multi-shell heat exchanger is disclosed in the preferred embodiment comprising at least two interconnected spherical shells wherein one shell encloses the other. Tubular connectors connect the shells in spaced relation defining an annular space between the shells for a circulating cooling fluid. A second fluid passage through the shells provides a continuous separate flow path for a circulating fluid to be cooled.
