A multi-service platform module (102) having a storage device (220) and a controller (226) coupled to the storage device (220). A first aggregation element (236) is coupled to the storage device (220) and the controller (226), where the first aggregation element (236) is coupled to route access to the storage device (220) between one of a first network (104) and a first transceiver socket (240), and where the controller (226) controls the first aggregation element (236). A second aggregation element (238) is coupled to the storage device (220) and the controller (226), where the second aggregation element (238) is coupled to route access to the storage device (220) between one of a second network (106) and a second transceiver socket (242), and where the controller (226) controls the second aggregation element (238).
