ABSTRACT:
An electrostatographic imaging member having two electrically operative layers including a charge transport layer and a charge generating layer, the electrically operative layers overlying a siloxane film coated on a metal oxide layer of a metal conductive anode, said siloxane film comprising a reaction product of a hydrolyzed silane having the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylidene group containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, are independently selected from the group consisting of H, a lower alkyl group containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a phenyl group, and a poly(ethylene-amino) group, said siloxane having reactive OH and ammonium groups attached to silicon atoms.
