ABSTRACT:
A multi-compact disk player adapted to be mounted on vehicles is provided, in which locking, clamping and tray loading can be performed in parallel by a pickup motor for loading a pickup. This multi-compact disk player comprises a locking portion for preventing a pickup base from vibrating while a selected disk is inserted into the player, a clamping portion for clamping the inserted disk under the locked state of the pickup base, a tray transfer portion for inserting a tray into the player under the clamped state of the disk, a pickup transfer portion for conveying a pickup onto the disk after the disk is inserted into the player, and a single drive motor for driving the locking portion, the clamping portion, the tray transfer portion and the pickup transfer portion by interlocking them with each other.
