ABSTRACT:
The invention refers to a silencer or muffler for internal combustion engines, particularly for two-stroke or cycle internal combustion engines, comprising at its inlet an essentially frustoconical diffusor, a shell of a truncated cone immediately adjoining with its end having the greater diameter the end of the diffusor having the greater diameter, and deflector for the gas stream downstream of said shell of a truncated cone.
