ABSTRACT:
A light transmitting device includes an open ended cylindrical body with a light source mounted in the end thereof opposite the open end. A mirror is spaced from the open end, and mounted for rotation about an axis substantially perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical body, that intersects the axis of the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body may include or be mounted on a pole or other stand. At least one vent may be provided in the cylindrical body open to the gap between the body and the light source. The mirror may be mounted to also be rotatable about the axis of the cylindrical body. The components of the device are easily assembled and disassembled.
