ABSTRACT:
A mounting structure for mounting a terminal at a circuit board, which allows the terminal to be easily mounted by using an automatic mounter is provided. This structure also assures a sufficient level of strength at the terminal mounting area, reduces the electrical resistance and improves the usable area ratio at the circuit board. Recessed electrodes are formed at an end of a circuit board and hollow through electrodes are disposed near the recessed electrodes at the circuit board. Each terminal includes a first vertical portion, a horizontal portion and a second vertical portion. The first vertical portion is fitted at the recessed electrodes and the second vertical portion is inserted at the through electrodes.
